Cutest. Intro. Ever.
Bethesda started off their E3 2017 Press Conference with a super cute intro clip showing the kids of Bethesda employees talking about what their parents do for a job. They kept the kiddy vibe going with “Bethesdaland” and an overall family friendly theme… even with clips of DOOM playing. Quite the contrast that worked nicely.
While a lot of the
Press Conference Showcase was either talking about or building upon existing games in the form of expansions, Creations Club, Nintendo Switch release and VR, a lot was shown. There really is a lot coming to games that you probably already own. Whatever you think about the Press Conference as a whole, you gotta give Bethesda props for supporting games well beyond release. Mad props too for showing the Dragonborn on Switch dressed like Breath of the Wild Link!
Love that everything shown will be out this year.
Here are my picks of the show.
Cool name for a cool game.
Fallout 4 VR
Bethesda are going all in with their some of their biggest titles on VR.
Skyrim on Nintendo Switch
It’s nothing new and we knew it was coming, but the more games for the Switch the merrier.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
More coming for Jase’s game of the year (for a short while)? Sure, why not!
B.J. Blazkowicz in Quake. Plus lots about eSports. Can’t escape it.
The Evil Within 2
A very cool and creepy trailer. Worth checking out! You wouldn’t have been shocked to see the trailer end with the words “A Hideo Kojima game”.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Such a very weird intro. Such a very weird ending. Looks like the game has a whole lot of style to it. Bananas indeed!
