E3 2017: SONY PRESS CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

You want games? Sony has games! All the games you want!

So the Sony E3 2017 Press Conference starts off with some Uncharted goodness. Then they throw in an incredible looking Shadow of the Colossus remake early on amidst a whole bunch of other games. Then they show some VR hits and misses. Then some very intriguing titles that look different and so very cool. Then, then…! Let me just say it is an awesome time ahead for gaming and this has been a great run of E3 Press Conferences.

Oh, in case you want another PS4, there is a limited edition gold one. Because who doesn’t like gold?

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Truthfully, I didn’t watch this that closely as I don’t want story spoilers. Without watching it I’m sure it looks phenomenal… surely!

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds

More Horizon is always welcome. Didn’t give too much away, which is good.

Day’s Gone

We got to see more of Bend’s new game that has been long coming.

Looks very brutal, even more so than The Last of Us. Also, is it just me or is that Starkiller?

Monster Hunter World

I know people will go wild for this because it’s a Monster Hunter game (Jase?), but I’m not sure about this one. Also, did that creature actually not see him because he put some foliage on his head?

Shadow of the Colossus

Wow. It looks as beautiful as the original does in our memories. They could have closed PlayStation Experience with this and everyone would have lost their minds.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

CAN. NOT. WAIT.

Some new characters shown in the very impressive looking fighting game. Plus, a story demo to download today! Excuse me while I go initiate a download.

Call of Duty: WWII

And we are so back with realistic military shooters. Jetpacks are so out now.

Skyrim VR

No Dragonborn dressed up as Link. Not impressed 😉

Star Child

Another PSVR game. If this wasn’t a Sony Press Conference I would have called this as Metroid early on. I think they’d appreciate the comparison! Who wouldn’t?

The Inpatient

Still going on the PSVR run, but with something far creepier looking.

Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV

Because who didn’t think the fishing component of Final Fantasy XV was missing VR?

Bravo Team

Sure looks like a video game. A VR game is about all I can say it is.

Moss

If The Tale of Despereaux crossed with Spirited Away, we’d get something like this VR offering.

BTW, with that title, I now want an IT Crowd game.

God of War

Another one I half watched. Another one I so can’t wait to play. Another one I’m sure hoping had an incredible trailer.

What I did see did nothing but make me want to play it even more. Early 2018!

Detroit: Become Human

While I could have stood to have seen more of that impressive singing animation at the start, boy oh boy does this game look interesting. Another stellar trailer for a stellar looking game.

Destiny 2

It’s Destiny 2! What more do you want? How about some exclusives for PS4? OK then!

For me, it’s still a little weird seeing that Bungie logo in a Sony conference. I just can’t let it go.

Spider-Man

I just can’t! The game looks incredible! So pumped for this one!

You need to watch this gameplay clip. It’s Spider-Man doing what Spider-Man does best! And so effortlessly, like poetry in motion. I need to temper my expectations. I don’t want to get hurt.

But then that snippet after the final sizzle reel… Man, I’m hyped!
