PLAYSTATION STORE JANUARY SALE: OUR PICKS

Now this is a sale!

As mentioned in my post from earlier in the day about the Xbox Countdown Sale, we get the raw end of the stick when it comes to digital games pricing in Australia, so thank goodness for sales like the PlayStation Store January Sale.

From the PlayStation blog:

You can save up to 60% on a huge number of titles across PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. In fact, the list is so long it’s too big to fit in this blog post, so see below for a selection of titles in each category, and then head to the January Sale page on PlayStation Store to see the 100s of other offers available! Note, some games will only be available in the sale for a limited time only, so don’t miss out.

There is a HUGE listing of games in the PlayStation Store January Sale, from good pricing on full retail games to indie gems too good to pass up.

My GOTY

My top picks would have to be my personal game of the year, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for AUD$40, DOOM for $AUD25 and the Batman – The Telltale Series Season Pass for a few cents under AUD$18. I happily picked up Transistor for a measly AUD$7.55.

Jono would be pointing you towards one of his top 3 games of 2016, X-Com 2 for AUD$40 and Jase would be telling you to pick up quite a few of these games, including Salt & Sanctuary for 43% off for PS+ members and the super fun Tricky Towers which is 61% off.

Ratchet & Clank, Rocket League and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for under AUD$20 each are also a steal.

Thank to the PlayStation Blog for the list.
